Since 1994, our criminal defense law partner Jon Katz has defended numerous felony and misdemeanor cases in the Circuit and District Court in Charles County, Maryland. Jon has become extensively familiar with Charles County. There, he has defended cases ranging from theft to one of the county's few annual first degree murder trials. Charles County is an easy drive from Jon's Silver Spring office. Jon enjoys every opportunity to go to Charles County and the rest of southern Maryland, where the court dockets are lighter than in places like Prince George's County and Baltimore, where many places of natural beauty help take the edge off the day, and where the seasonal farmer's market is at the edge of the courthouse parking lot.
